The Fernblick crew is like one big family, always welcoming their guests, and us too, with warmth and cordiality. We are incredibly grateful to be able to regularly visit this amazing location. No wonder we now affectionately refer to the Fernblick as our second living room.
ORIENTAL RITUALS AND A BILINGUAL WEDDING CEREMONY
At Roxy and Ollie’s warm and energetic wedding, no one stopped dancing, and there was exuberant dancing and celebrating throughout the day.
To be honest, it was extremely difficult for us not to dance along, because the groovy music and everyone’s infectious joy were truly moving. The boutique hotel Fernblick am Wechsel was the perfect location for their lively garden party and provided the perfect backdrop for this vibrant celebration. Roxy and Ollie, two sweethearts, brought their guests from different continents together, blurring the boundaries between cultures. Live music could be heard everywhere during the getting ready and guest reception. The first guests began dancing, and a lively party atmosphere spread. The bilingual ceremony took place in the garden with a view of the mountains, and the oriental rituals made their marriage truly special.
THE PERFECT CONNECTION
From the first moment we met the two via video call, we knew their wedding would be amazing. But what really touched us was her indescribable warmth and positive charisma. We all had a great connection from the very beginning, and it was overwhelming to see how lovingly they interacted with each other. It was wonderful to be a part of their wedding, and we’re already really looking forward to seeing each other again.

Roxy and Ollie didn’t want to be away from their guests for more than 20 minutes for their couples shoot. This is generally in our best interest, as long as there are enough great photo spots nearby or on-site, like at Fernblick. Some of the couple photos were taken right at Fernblick, which offers countless brilliant spots. To take advantage of the early evening sun, we also shot a few photo and video sequences with backlight reflections in a nearby forest meadow. The two newlyweds exuded pure joie de vivre. The group photo, including the drone video, was also taken directly on the Fernblick property. The family and friends’ photos were filled with hearty jokes and laughter. For these photos, we always have creative ideas to capture the people in lively and dynamic images, making these memories special as well.
LIKE A TOUCH OF THE TROPICS: THE ENJOYABLE GARDEN PARTY IN AN EXOTIC ATMOSPHERE
Fernblick’s extravagant mid-century design location spoils its guests not only with a breathtaking ambiance but also with culinary delights. The slogan ” anything but ordinary” couldn’t be more fitting. The Tulum Bar, with its tropical flair, fountain, and palm trees, became the afternoon dance floor, while the impressive live band “Bushfire” encouraged guests to dance along. The sun shone, creating the perfect summer day to simply unwind. The Lindenlaube delighted the evening with a variety of delicious dishes, refreshing drinks, and a tempting chocolate fountain. The Felsenbar was a night of celebration and lavish entertaining.
Roxy and Ollie’s wedding at Fernblick was a celebration full of joie de vivre, love, and a special atmosphere. The unique combination of luxury and warm hospitality made this day unforgettable. We are grateful to have been a part of this special event and are already looking forward to our next wedding at Fernblick.
