Wörthersee Hochzeit

WÖRTHERSEE WEDDING – AN UNFORGETTABLE DAY IN A UNIQUE SETTING

The two life partners Lisa and Phillip, nicknamed Fumi, celebrated their wedding with approximately 120 guests at the Kropfitschbad on Lake Wörthersee. Most of their wedding guests came from Italy, Vienna, and the UK, seeing our beautiful Carinthia and our stunning Lake Wörthersee for the first time.

GET TOGETHER AT BISTRO 151ER IN KLAGENFURT

Due to the long journeys of many guests, there was a Get Together and Welcome Dinner on Friday evening at the fantastic Bistro 151er in Klagenfurt. This was the perfect opportunity to greet their guests and chat with everyone before the big day. The great thing about a Get Together is that guests can already meet each other, and it increases everyone’s anticipation for the wedding. We think it’s a great way to kick off a wedding celebration.

GETTING READY AT VILLA RIVA IN PÖRTSCHACH

On Saturday afternoon, the Getting Ready took place at Hotel Zum Goldenen Löwen and Villa Riva in Pörtschach, which is directly on Wörthersee. When we arrived, Lisa had already been styled by the makeup artist. We just captured the final touch-ups for her wedding photos and video. Lisa wasn’t too nervous yet, but we could clearly sense her father’s excitement. It’s always so moving to see fathers near tears when their daughters are about to marry.

CIVIL WEDDING IN THE KROPFITSCHBAD DIRECTLY ON THE WATER WITH A VIEW OF WÖRTHERSEE

Meanwhile, Phillip had already arrived at Kropfitschbad in Krumpendorf to welcome the wedding guests. After Lisa put on her wedding dress and shoes, Clark made his way from Pörtschach to Krumpendorf to capture the guest reception as well. Kaya stayed with the bride, accompanying Lisa, her father, and her bridesmaids on a boat ride across Wörthersee toward Kropfitschbad. Slowly, but surely, Lisa’s nerves started to show, but her father kept her calm with a few jokes to distract her.

ARRIVAL AT KROPFITSCHBAD

When Phillip spotted the boat with Lisa from the shore, he couldn’t hold back his emotions any longer, and joyful tears streamed from his eyes. After the emotional handover of the bride and heartfelt vows, it was time for the Agape and congratulations. The musical entertainment was provided by an amazing musician duo from Hamburg. The duo played so energetically that part of the guests couldn’t help but join in, dancing so vigorously that the boats at the docks seemed to shake. The tables and chairs turned into grandstands, and there wasn’t a still leg in the crowd.

COUPLE’S SESSION AT THE SHORE OF WÖRTHERSEE

After the first round of dancing, Lisa and Phillip didn’t want to be away from their guests for long. So, we quickly hopped on the boat and headed over to the neighboring Villa Vogelberg for about 15 minutes to capture a few couple photos and video sequences. Right at the shore of Wörthersee and in the cozy boathouse, we were able to capture the loving couple.

Back at Kropfitschbad, they were welcomed by their guests and the musician duo with singing and dancing. Another amazing dance and sing-along session followed. We, Kaya and Clark, must admit, we had to really hold ourselves back from joining in with the dancing and singing. You can’t imagine how hard it was for us at that moment, haha.

GUEST PORTRAITS AT THE DOCK OF KROPFITSCHBAD

After a short break, all the guests gathered on the lawn for a group photo. Once the picture was taken, we captured smaller family and group portraits at the dock of Kropfitschbad. Before the wedding guests were treated to their delicious meal, it was time for the bouquet toss and garter throw. Then, there was a short break to relax and enjoy the culinary delights. After several delicious courses, the wedding cake was served as dessert. Lisa and Fumi cut their cake together, following the popular tradition, with just one knife.

FIRST DANCE AND PARTY

Also, a firm tradition at many weddings is the First Dance, and the newlyweds didn’t skip this one either. After all, the First Dance is the starting signal for an unforgettable party. We hardly need to tell you how much the bride and groom, as well as their guests, rocked the dance floor. We’ve already said enough, so it’s best to see for yourself—because, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
