TUSCAN WEDDING AT OBERMAYERHOFEN CASTLE

Laura and James chose the castle for their wedding to combine classic elegance with modern London chic. Laura, art gallery curator and James, object artist were inspired by the castle’s charm, its Tuscan flair, and the paintings in the breakfast room. From extraordinary floral designs to elegant details, the wedding party also reflected the couple’s international flair. Their wedding was a creative mix that combined traditional elements of the venue with their modern approach, creating a unique atmosphere of style, art, and elegance in the Tuscan setting of Southern Styria.

The couple would have loved to have their couple photos taken outdoors in the vast garden, but it began to rain heavily in the afternoon. Although the weather on this special day wasn’t cooperating, and the rain prevented the planned outdoor couple photo session, Laura and James weren’t discouraged. Shortly after the cake cutting and the wedding game, we decided to take their couple photos in their favourite room – the breakfast room. This room, with its historic paintings and elegant flair, provided a perfect backdrop for their photos. Thus, we created a kind of “royal” photo session and, despite the rain, still found a solution for the couple.

After the rainy afternoon, the evening took a boozy turn as the party really got going. Guests danced, celebrated, and enjoyed the Italian “Dolce Vita” atmosphere, which made Obermayerhofen Castle a special place for this event. The elegant charm of Southern Styria was reminiscent of Tuscany and immersed everyone in a world of enjoyment, style, and joie de vivre.
